Who is responsible?
The operator of investum.ro is INVESTUM CAPITAL SRL. For questions about this notice or to exercise your data protection rights, contact office@investum.ro.
Information you provide
The enquiry form requests your name, email address and subject, together with an optional message. When you email us directly, we receive the information contained in your correspondence. Please limit an initial message to the information needed to understand your enquiry; avoid sending identity documents, sensitive personal information or confidential business records through the public form.
Why we use this information
We use enquiry details to understand your request, respond, maintain relevant correspondence and consider possible business discussions. Where your enquiry concerns entering a contract with you, the basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other business enquiries, including contact on behalf of an organisation, the basis is our legitimate interest in handling relevant correspondence and developing business relationships, under Article 6(1)(f). Legal obligations may require specific records to be retained under Article 6(1)(c).
Providing contact details is voluntary. Without a usable email address and sufficient context, we may be unable to respond. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing newsletter.
Technical operation and security
Hosting, email delivery and security services may process technical information such as an IP address, browser details, timestamps, requested pages and security events to deliver the website, prevent abuse and investigate technical problems. These activities support our legitimate interest in maintaining a reliable and secure website. Access is limited to the people and service providers who need the information for the relevant purpose, or where disclosure is required by law.
Website statistics and translation
The website includes the existing Jetpack/WordPress.com statistics service and GTranslate translation functionality. Statistics may involve technical visit data such as IP address, browser, visited and referring pages, timestamps, language and country. Automattic states that identifiable Stats logs are retained for 28 days and are not displayed to the site owner as individual visitor identities. See Jetpack Stats privacy information and Automattic privacy notice.
Using translation functionality may involve third-party services and a language preference stored in your browser. Information about the providers is available in the GTranslate privacy policy and Google privacy policy. You can manage site storage through your browser settings. Where consent is required for optional technologies, it is a separate choice from submitting a business enquiry.
Service providers and international processing
Relevant providers include website hosting, email, maintenance, security, statistics and translation services. Some third-party services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. The applicable provider documentation describes their processing locations and transfer arrangements. For information about the safeguards relevant to a particular processing activity, contact office@investum.ro. A business enquiry is not consent to an unrelated use or transfer.
How long information is needed
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as it is relevant to handling the request, following up a genuine business discussion and meeting applicable legal obligations or dealing with legal claims. The criteria include the nature and status of the enquiry, whether an ongoing relationship results, applicable retention requirements and the need to preserve records for a dispute. Provider-controlled technical logs follow the provider's relevant retention arrangements. This notice does not change those providers' settings.
Your rights and how to contact us
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Send requests to office@investum.ro; we may need proportionate information to confirm your identity.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP, or another competent supervisory authority. Information about the GDPR is available from the European Union.
Scope of this notice
This notice concerns the public website and initial enquiries. A particular engagement, investment or contractual relationship may require additional information addressing its own purpose and documentation. The public website does not provide an automated investment or subscription decision process.
